Milan Home meets Erboristeria Fresia (wellness, perfumery, and giftware)

Erboristeria Fresia is a historic store in Sassuolo where a beauty center, a perfumery corner, and a giftware department coexist. Located in the main town of the Union of Municipalities of the Ceramic District, Fresia offers "a comprehensive approach to health, but those who come to us know they can find a bit of everything, from Tibetan singing bowls to wines. It might seem a bit confusing, but everything has its place and is valued. We have a large team of eight people, each with their own unique perspective, which allows for very constructive discussions and results in a store with something for everyone."

 

Davide Mediani is a pharmacist. "I grew up in my family's herbalist shop, and my parents' passion was a strong driving force behind my decision to follow this path. It's impossible not to fall in love with what we do! After a few years of working as a pharmacist, I returned to the family business and now we're expanding it over two floors."

"Fundamentally, we only choose what we love so that we can showcase it to the best of our ability."

 

The bond with the territory is strong and has consolidated over time. Fresia is a business that has been operating for twenty years and has a very wide customer base that also includes the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

Our passion for what we do allows us to build a relationship of trust with our customers.

"We organize various dissemination events in the territory - explains Mediani - collaborating with various associations, involving other businesses or directly with local municipalities. These meetings are not aimed at selling products nor, much less, have advertising purposes. The goal is to share all our passion with our customers, explaining the characteristics and qualities of the proposed items. I believe that the love for what we do allows us to create a relationship of trust with our customers, and the experience we bring consolidates our results."

 

It's difficult to think of a single key that works for everyone.

 

 

Which channels do you prefer for presentation and sales?

 

"Social media for products and posters/flyers and WhatsApp for our events. We dedicate a lot of energy to promotion, and the results are satisfying. It's difficult to think of a single key that works for everyone, I can only say that you can never stop."

 

As for suppliers, "we have a group of established suppliers whom we trust blindly, and a group that we like to change often in order to always have new things. Every time one of us sees something beautiful, we save it, comment on it together, and if we like it, we try to reach the supplier."
