We met Ilaria Limonta, South Europe Territory Director of Kikkerland.
What are the novelties you will present at Milano Home, the characteristics, the values, and if there is a product or collection of greater importance?
At Milano Home, Kikkerland will present several exciting novelties that combine creativity and functionality. Our goal is always to offer everyday objects that surprise with their innovative design and a touch of humor. A particularly important product is our new line of multifunctional travel accessories: useful, compact, and perfect for those who love to travel in style without sacrificing practicality. How was your company born and what are your strengths?
Kikkerland was born in New York in 1992 thanks to Jan van der Lande, a Dutch designer who wanted to bring art and creativity into the world of everyday objects. Our mission from the beginning has been to make design accessible to everyone, transforming functional products into objects that arouse joy and curiosity. The brand's strengths can be summarized in a few key concepts:
· Unexpected design: Our ability to see the world from a unique perspective allows us to develop objects that surprise with their appearance and use. We collaborate with designers from all over the world to create a diverse collection, full of brilliant ideas that refer to art, pop culture, and practical functionality.
