What new products did you present at this edition of Milano Home?
The new tableware for 2025 from Weissestal was all about style, design, and exclusivity. Thanks to valuable collaborations with prominent names like Simone Guidarelli (stylist, fashion consultant, and creative) and Andrea Castrignano (beloved interior designer), we presented precious decorations, signature colors, and original patterns for table settings where the keyword was: stand out. The two collections by Simone Guidarelli, Souvenirs de Voyage and Exotic Jungle (the latter unveiled as a preview and soon to be featured at Fuorisalone), are true works of art that dress the table with fascinating and unique textures and colors. The two lines include plates, small plates, cups and saucers (with lids, a real touch of class), along with delightful accessories like cake stands, three-tier stands, wall plates, coasters, place cards, and the versatile bowl/tray. Designed as a small family treasure, they can be collected over time and passed down, each piece telling a unique story through the 'worlds' depicted in its decoration. Finished with real gold thread applied by hand, Souvenirs de Voyage and Exotic Jungle are visual narratives that speak of refinement and elegance and amazes with attention to detail. The two lines by Andrea Castrignano, Loop and Wallpaper, stem from the passion and attention to colors of the interior designer, who tailors and renovates homes into true works of art where the client's personality meets Andrea's distinctive taste and style. The six colors of the Loop collection – Army, Slate, Whale, Rust, Lagoon, and Petrol – are applied to white porcelain, bringing cheerfulness and vitality to the table, complemented by the serving oval, the large breakfast cup, and the original coffee cups and tea cup (with saucer). In combination, the series of charger plates, bread plates, and dessert plates Wallpaper adds character to the table setting and brings an original and particular design to the table, with Pontian motifs and perspective figurative subjects inspired by nature.

How did your company start, and what are your strengths?
Founded in 1983, the Weissestal brand has its roots in German artisanal tradition, drawing inspiration from the evocative "white valley" (Weiss + tal). From the very beginning, the brand has stood out for the refined art of table setting, combining elegance and authenticity in a timeless design, capable of adapting to changes while always preserving its essence. Over the years, Weissestal has consolidated its presence in retail, becoming synonymous with everyday luxury for those seeking exclusive table products, perfect for both everyday moments and special occasions. Today, it is a reference point for those who wish to transform the table into a work of art to be fully enjoyed.
What is your relationship with retail stores or e-commerce, how important are they, and what is the added value for retailers to have your brand in their store?
Weissestal relies on a network of retail stores throughout Italy and e-commerce on its website. Customer care is central to the shopping experience through both sales channels. The visual strategy has a significant impact on product communication, and our porcelain lines, as well as the collections of glasses and goblets Made in Italy, are well-suited for setting up attractive displays or table settings that captivate customers. We support our retailers with displays, signage, brochures, catalogs, and images to accompany each service with a precise story and mood to tell. Offering a Weissestal item means offering special attention to the table, as behind a single plate lies a great deal of work in study, design, finishing, and attention to detail, ensuring that the end user receives an excellent product capable of exciting and adding value to the table.
