Hand-decorated porcelain has been a long-standing tradition that has always fascinated the Baroni family.
"Our business," explains Cristina Baroni, "originates from my mother Anna Soldini's passion, who thanks to her artistic ability and the support of my father, Luciano Baroni, managed to transform a hobby into a real business. This is how Baroni Porcelain was born in Milan in 1976, dedicated to hand-decorating tableware, home accessories, and favors."
"In 2007, I took over the company, continuing the family business with the same passion as my parents, supported by passionate and motivated collaborators."
"With the same attention to detail and constant contact with the best porcelain factories in Limoges, I am constantly updated on the latest trends and collections. Our creations are unique and precious, one-of-a-kind!"
For porcelain decoration, Baroni uses the 'third firing technique'. The working tools are brushes, a pen, and a sponge used to create colored bands by dabbing.
"The colors are powder pigments that we mix together," continues Baroni, "to create countless shades, more than 100 in our color palette. Everything is finished with gold or platinum."
This year, Baroni Porcelain has been awarded the Quality Craftsmanship mark by the Lombardy Region.
