Chez Moi: luxury Made in Italy

Interview with Sheila Paoluzzi, the creator of Chez Moi together with husband and stylist Alessandro Zini

What’s the latest news from Chez Moi?

Our brand creates luxury articles for household linen and clothing. The search for true luxury involves the use of natural, healthy materials that combine refined yarns with laces that we design exclusively.

With respect to the new developments in the autumn/winter 24/25 home collection, Chez Moi has designed and presented a new shade of soft green, very suitable for autumn and Christmas tables, which emerges in both pure linen and lace. Velvet takes a star turn this season, with its iridescent shades, and enhances blankets with ruffles and sofa cushions. As far as curtains are concerned, the Chez Moi collection remains extensive, enhancing the catalogue with three new models suitable for minimalist-chic settings made of linen gauze. The macramé lace models are, on the other hand, proposed for more sumptuous environments.

What are the strengths of the brand?

100% Italian production, starting from the design, which is conceived exclusively in-house. The brand is also directed by a couple of young entrepreneurs, who travel the world in search of new trends and lend them an Italian interpretation according to national taste. Our stylistic research is also bound up with the high-quality yarns made in Italy, so that the resulting products can be recognised in terms of style and production.

How important is sustainability for your company, and do you have collections that use recycled materials?

Sustainability is a value that our company has very much internalised. It is pursued through zero-miles production. The entire company production area is located in the town of Carpi in the province of Modena and draws not only the entire Italian in-house staff, but also laboratories, craftspeople and producers from the area. The fabrics used are 100% natural and managing production internally results in no processing waste. Instead, everything is optimised to best promote the use of high-quality fabrics and lace.

The dyes too, made to lend the items our distinctive dusty shades, are certified at European level and healthy for wearers.
